Correctional facility planning and design is a unique and highly specialized field of architecture in which DD/A places special emphasis. Under the association of DD/L (DD/A and William V. Lack, Jr. Architect), our team of architects/technical experts and corrections planners are available to provide services ranging from inmate population projections, feasibility studies, security & operations consultation and ACA/ADA code assessments to full correctional facility planning and design. Projects have ranged in size from small cellblock additions to city/county jails to master planning and development of major prison complexes.
