rThis innovative project is a joint venture between Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi and Baptist Memorial Health Care. The one level addition of 14,126 SF added to the existing 86,373 SF four story building includes lobby, engagement center, nutrition center, 16 exam rooms, off stage provider areas, tele-health rooms, lab, phlebotomy, break room, conference room, support spaces and 4 covered exterior blood draw parking spaces and a pneumatic tube system for transporting samples. The entire clinic, from structural design, technology integration and clinical care is designed to create an experience that is not routinely seen in healthcare delivery. It is less like a doctor’s office and more like a care center committed to a person’s holistic health journey.
