We designed the Master Plan for a 60-acre expansion of the Rankin Campus of Hinds Community College. This multi-purpose building was named in honor of Clyde Muse, long-time President of HCC. The 75,000 SF building features a multi-function auditorium that seats 3,000 people and can accommodate trade shows and large banquets. Movable panels allow the space to be divided into a multi-room conference center. A suite of offices and a large conference room are available for event organizers and for intimate group meetings. Large indoor lobbies provide break-out space and lead to an exterior terrace overlooking the adjacent lake. A full catering kitchen accompanies the meeting space and serves as classroom space for the culinary arts program. The classroom wing offers six classrooms/labs, two industrial start-up classrooms, faculty offices and a student lounge.
