This library located in Diamondhead, Mississippi was funded from multiple sources, including Federal Katrina Supplemental CDBG Funds administered by MDA on behalf of HUD as part of the statewide disaster recovery. Additional funding was also provided by FEMA.

The metal roof standing seam brick veneer exterior and all exterior windows meet the new hurricane resistant requirements for the region. The library scope consists of 9,643 SF. The interior space of the library includes a large conference room available for use by various local groups, a children’s reading room and a gated children’s recreation area.
