Baker Donelson is one of the largest law firms in the Southeast and serves as the anchor tenant to this new 125,000-square-foot Class A office building located in the District in Jackson,MS. Through a collaboration of two architectural firms, full A/E and interior design services were provided for the new office space.

The project scope included designing three levels of office space consisting of 124 private offices, 14 conference rooms, 38 open workstations with the availability for growth, and a 3,500 square foot multipurpose area for entertaining – complete with a café and large balcony.

The key design feature of this space, a magnolia inspired aluminum screen, provides a connection to each level and this main vertical circulation encourages employee interaction within the office. To further encourage communication, a “genius bar” was created adjacent to the lower level of the stair where training sessions on advancing technologies take place.
